OddsJam | BetOpenly’s NFL Picks of The Week

My Degens, My Degens,

Week 7 NFL: How TF are we almost halfway through the NFL regular season? Are the Minnesota Vikings the biggest surprise? The Cincinnati Bengals the biggest disappointment? This has been a wild NFL season to start and after last week, the betting public is feeling great! Road favorites finished 9-0. Do we see that continue or do the books get revenge? Speaking of revenge, do the 49ers get their revenge against the Chiefs? Let’s take a look:

Chiefs vs 49ers
4:25pm EST FOX

In the highly anticipated rematch of the Super Bowl from last year, the 49ers are currently 2 point favorites. Do the 49ers get revenge over the Chiefs or does the dominance of Andy Reid off the bye continue?

Why you should bet on Kansas City:

  • In the rematch of the Super Bowl the following season, the team who won the Super Bowl is 5-3 SU.

  • Andy Reid is 21-4 following the bye week, the best in NFL history.

Why you should bet on San Francisco:

  • Since 2016, teams are 145-102-9 ATS when playing an opponent who is undefeated, per Trendcenter.

  • The Chiefs are playing an out of conference road game followed by a divisional road game, against the Raiders, who they would like to get revenge against after losing on Christmas Day last year. This is a potential look ahead spot.

Jets vs Steelers
8:20pm EST NBC

Earlier this week, the Jets traded for Devante Adams. Rodgers finally has his guy back with him, but can the offensive line for the Jets hold up against the powerful rush/defense of the Steelers?

Why you should be on New York:

  • The Jets are 0-3 ATS the last three weeks. This is a great buy low spot for New York.

  • Per Trendcenter, since 2007, when a road favorite has a lower win percentage and is favored over their opponent, that team is 62-15.

Why you should bet on Pittsburgh:

  • Since 2008, Mike Tomlin is 56-35-5 ATS as a dog.

  • The Steelers are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games.
