Detroit stays at the top of the league ATS and their overall record. Can Houston slow them down on Sunday? Let’s take a look at some games this week and a player prop that has some value as well.

Saints vs Falcons

This past week, the Saints lost to the Carolina Panthers and fired their head coach Dennis Allen. Will the Saints bounce back this week against a red-hot Atlanta team after the loss and firing of their head coach?

Why you should bet on the Saints:

  • Since 2014, teams who fire their head coach are 15-4 ATS, with the teams covering the spread by 4.2 points per game and increasing their point differential by 16.3 on average.

  • Per TrendsCenter, since 1989 fading teams off great offensive home wins where they scored more than 27 and won the previous matchup against the opponent has hit at 58% since 1989.

Why you should bet on the Falcons:

Lions vs Texans

Why you should bet on Detroit:

  • The Lions are 7-1 against the spread this season

  • When the Lions are 3.5+ point favorites this year, they are 3-1 ATS this year.

  • Dan Campbell is 70% ATS as a head coach.

Why you should bet on Houston:

  • Per TrendsCenter, fading good teams who have covered 75% of their games on the season is 67% since 1992.

  • Per TrendsCenter, fading a team who averages more than 30 points a game on SNF is 70% since 2020.
